“Let’s Talk About The No Surprises Act” Twitter Space

Families USA hosted a Twitter Space, featuring Jane Sheehan, Director of Federal Relations, and Nicki Pogue, a consumer who has received a surprise medical bill, discussing the No Surprises Act and the final rule that was released on August 19th, 2022.

Jane discusses the new rule and what Families USA hopes to see going forward. Then she dives into what the law means for consumers and why it needs to be kept strong. They also shared information about the protections and how consumers and their advocates can learn more.
